Portland-Vancouver Restoration Technician Openings
Build a Career Rescuing Homes Across Portland & Vancouver
We are a growing, family-owned restoration company in the Portland-Vancouver metro looking for skilled, reliable people who take pride in their work and want to make a real difference for homeowners in crisis.
Certifications Matter Here
IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT) are valued and supported. We help our team add credentials and pay more for the ones you bring.
Family-Owned Team
No corporate layers, no anonymous management. The people making decisions are the same people you work alongside, every day.
Work That Matters
Homeowners call us on the worst days of their lives. Getting a family back into their home after a flood or fire is real work with real stakes.
Who We’re Looking For
IICRC-certified technicians are a strong fit. Certifications we value: WRT (Water Restoration Technician), FSRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician). We will also train motivated candidates who are new to the restoration side of things but bring real trade skill from construction, plumbing, or a related field. People who know how buildings go together understand damage differently than someone learning from scratch.
A background in restoration, construction, or a related trade is a genuine advantage here, not just a checkbox. Reliable transportation is required. Our crews cover job sites across Clark County WA, Multnomah County OR, Washington County OR, and Clackamas County OR, and you need to be able to get there on your own schedule.
We are a 24/7 operation. Emergency calls do not wait for business hours, and the on-call rotation reflects that. We will be upfront about availability expectations during the interview. This work is also physical: expect lifting, crawl-space work, and long hours on active loss sites. If that does not put you off, keep reading.
What We Offer
Competitive pay, commensurate with experience and certifications. More credentials and more experience means more money. We value what you bring in the door and pay accordingly.
IICRC continuing education support. This company takes certification seriously. If you want to add certs, we are behind that and we help make it happen.
A family-owned team that treats people like adults and backs them up on the job. No corporate layers. No anonymous management structure. The people making decisions about this company are the same people you will work alongside.
Work that matters. Homeowners call us on the worst days of their lives. Getting a family back into their home after a flood, a fire, or a mold outbreak is real work with real stakes. That is part of what this job is, and it is worth something.
Our Culture
This is not a franchise. Every call, every crew, every job reflects directly on the Paliy family name. We do the work right. We treat people with respect, the homeowner going through a hard day and the crew member dealing with a difficult job. When something goes wrong on a job, we back our people and figure it out together. That is what family-owned means in practice. We have been doing it since 2003 and that has not changed.
