This Privacy Policy applies to callrescuehero.com and governs how RescueHero Restoration collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website. RescueHero Restoration is a home and property restoration company operating in the Portland and Vancouver metropolitan area.

What Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact form submissions: When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, property address or city, type of damage, and your free-text message. The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field (“website”). Any data entered in that field is discarded and never stored or processed.
• Analytics data: If Google Analytics (GA4) is active on this site, it collects anonymized usage information including pages viewed, session duration, approximate geographic region, and device and browser type. Visitors are identified by a randomly assigned identifier, not by name. GA4 data is retained according to Google’s standard retention policies.
• Phone tracking: If CallRail is active, it may replace the displayed phone number with a tracking number that records call metadata including date, time, duration, and approximate originating area code. CallRail’s own privacy policy governs how that data is handled.
• No other passive collection: We do not independently collect IP addresses or device fingerprints beyond what the third-party tools above may capture under their own policies.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to service inquiries submitted through the contact form.
• To contact you about your restoration project by phone, email, or text, using the information you provided.
• To improve site performance and user experience through analytics data.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Your Information

• Internal team: Information from contact form submissions is shared with RescueHero Restoration staff to respond to and service your request.
• Marketing partner (BCC): Form submissions are BCC’d to Lithium SEO (leads@lithiumseo.com) for lead tracking and marketing analytics on behalf of RescueHero Restoration. Lithium SEO is a service provider operating under a business relationship and does not independently control your data for its own purposes.
• Third-party service providers: Google Analytics and CallRail (if active) receive data as described in the section above.
• We do not sell your data.
• Legal exceptions: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud or unauthorized use of the site.

Cookies and Analytics

• Session cookies: Used for standard site functionality. These expire when you close your browser.
• Google Analytics cookies: GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_XXXXXXX) to distinguish users and measure site usage. These persist for up to 2 years.
• CallRail cookies (if active): Used to associate phone sessions with referral data. Governed by CallRail’s privacy policy.

To opt out of analytics tracking, you may enable “Do Not Track” in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension, or disable cookies in your browser. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions and associated email records are retained as long as needed to service the business relationship, including any active project, applicable warranty period, or potential legal matter, plus any period required by applicable law. Standard business practice for restoration customer records is 3 to 7 years. Analytics data is retained per the applicable platform’s standard retention period (Google Analytics GA4 default: 14 months for event data).

Your Privacy Rights

Oregon and Washington residents have certain rights regarding their personal information:

• Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA): Effective July 1, 2025. At current data volumes, RescueHero Restoration likely does not meet the threshold that triggers OCPA obligations, but we honor access, correction, and deletion requests as a matter of good practice regardless of threshold status.
• Washington My Health MY Data Act: We do not collect consumer health data as defined under the Washington My Health MY Data Act.

callrescuehero.com is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of callrescuehero.com after a revised policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we may provide additional notice on the homepage.
